Berlin Wall Fall Anniversary

Today marks 31 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall.  It was an extremely important event for the EU, because it produced the reunification of Germany, ending the political and social division between east and west; finishing a period of economic turbulence also.  I think that this event triggered a social revolution in many ways, but mostly it made people realize that it was important to cooperate in base to achieve objectives. As we know, cooperation is one of the most significant principles for the EU, as it is looks to reinforce economic, social and territorial cohesion between Member States.  After Germany reunification, the country joined the EU, becoming one of the uttermost growing States.  What do you think about this Historic event? Let me know in the comments!
